David Welper has an MA in Creative Writing from Wayne State University in Detroit. His work appears in several publications including Red Light Lit, Rivet and sPARKLE & bLINK. He's been a featured reader in NYC, Detroit, and the Bay Area. He has been (or currently is) a curator & organizer of literary events, an Editor and a book reviewer.
He writes with an appreciation for the odd things in his brain, focusing on Sound, Structure, and Image.
His book Lookbaby (BigMileBooks, 2013) deals with the absurdity and immaturity of how we look at our surroundings (see below).
His latest manuscript, Sorry Sir, We're Gonna Have to Ask You to Leave, is available for publishing offers.
He is also a psychiatric nurse.
I asked her why she's hanging knives on the wall. She replied, "To intensify my orgasms."
